About the role



  • Ideal business leadership role for a degree qualified professional to manage small town retail businesses

 Reporting to the Superintendent of Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), this dynamic role will oversee the operations of the supermarket, tavern, bistro and cafe in the Leinster town.  The role will enable you to work with our contracting partner to ensure services suit the town needs, are professional quality and responsive to the business needs.

This role will be accountable for safety, satisfying community needs and overall profitability of the retail services. A key aspect of the role will be operating as a small business and hence maintaining budgets, financial records and business plans.

Leinster is a Nickel West owned and operated township that we manage internally and hence you will join a thriving and dynamic team at site and be a key member amongst a group that drive for best practice, simplicity and quality.



About You

  • Experience in operating within a Retail establishment, preferably in a supermarket or hospitality industry;
  • Experience in running, maintaining financials and analyzing of budgets for a Retail establishment;
  • Health and Safety management of retail operations;
  • Ability to run procurement, retail pricing and inventory management;
  • Experience in ensuring high levels of customer service and product quality; and
  • Degree qualification in business, accounting or commerce desirable.
