About the role

Reporting in to the Principal Non Processing Infrastructure as the Accommodation Coordinator your role will be to assist, supervise & provide leadership to the Accommodation Officer role. Ensuring compliance with operating standards procedures, work instructions and defined processes to achieve optimal outcomes. This is role is based in the Brisbane Office working Monday to Friday. As there may be a necessity to drive on site a requirement of the role will be to hold a valid driver’s license.  

In this role you will:
  • Supervise & provide leadership and direction to the Accommodation Officer/s
  • Liaise with internal & external facilitators, notably accommodation providers, to ensure the effective use of resources in the provision of accommodation that will maximise utilisation
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders to forecast, coordinate and plan outages & projects across our mine site
  • Build relations with the Accommodation Village team, and support a customer service platform for internal clients
  • Participate in contractual obligations in support of the NPI
  • Review & respond to village accommodation queries within allocated timeframes & operating procedures.
  • Utilise the Accommodation Spotfire Portal to report wastage, optimizing accommodation, forecasting
  • Be fully adept at using SAM Accommodation system
  • Be familiar with SAP / Fiori interface

About You

You will have previously supervised a small team and can demonstrate the ability to influence, collaborate and effectively problem solve with the ability to build strong relationships.
Ideally your career to date has been working within a similar travel and accommodation with booking experience. Energetic and driven, you work well with challenges, bringing attention to detail and an ability to meet multiple deadlines. You relate well with people, communicate confidently and build strong working relationships.  You will have an in-depth knowledge of SAM accommodation system, and have familiarity with Spotfire and SAP.  Your analytical skills will support a continuous improvement culture.
