About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent, NPI Camps and Aviation Maintenance, your duties will include:
  • Arrange appointments, meetings and functions for site based NPI Camps and Aviation and other NPI departments as and when required.
  • Coordinate appointments, accesses and arrangements for visitors.
  • Organise travel and accommodation for the site based NPI Teams
  • Coordinate appointments for team meetings and assist with venue bookings.
  • Create purchase requisitions and process service entries via 1SAP.
  • Raise work orders for facilities maintenance as requested in 1SAP.
  • Conduct adhoc reporting, analysis and develop presentations as required.
  • Assist in setting up new employees and embedded contractors including network access, site access, additional hardware requests, training requirements and AMEX applications
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation.
  • Assist the site based NPI CAV team  in identifying and implementing initiatives that contribute value to the business
  • Demonstrating commitment and conformance to the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
Location Located 120km north of Newman, you will enjoy a 5 days on 2 days of 4 days on 3 days off roster with outstanding facilities at the Mulla Mulla FIFO village including a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, beach volleyball court and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.

About You

Attitude is key in this role and your positive engagement skills and ability to manage changing priorities whilst providing effective coordination and administrative support across NPI departments will see you to success in this role.
You will have some or all of the following:
  • Certificate II in Business and/or Certificate II in Business studies would be advantageous
  • A minimum of three years in a similar role
  • Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications; Word; Excel; Powerpoint; Visio; Sharepoint; SAM’s; TEM (travel expense management) preferred
  • Solid knowledge of SAP application is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills supporting your ability to engage with people at all levels of the business
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a busy work environment
  • Proven planning and organisation skills supported by strong attention to detail
  • Proven organisation skills and the ability to work with shifting priorities effectively
  • Full C Class manual drivers license
