About the role:

  • Reporting to Manager Mining the key function of this role is to optimise the UG Mining teams’ capacity to meet business requirements by ensuring new starters arrive ready to start work. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Providing administration support to our UG Mining team;
  • Coordinating ongoing travel arrangements for FIFO employees
  • Assisting with the on boarding process by coordinating site travel and accommodation, IT access, clothing and PPE orders as well as induction bookings; and
  • Responding to any queries with regards to flights and accommodation.

Nickel West LeinsterNickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.  The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.  The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre, race-course and even an 18 hole golf course.  As part of our commitment to health and safety Nickel West Leinster is a smoke free operation and has a clean shaven policy.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within mining environment;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is a must;
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload efficiently;
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAMS and 1SAP will be an advantage;  
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office;  
  • A current driver’s license;
