About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance A&I Administrator at Daunia mine.  The role will be accountable for the Training & Contractor Management System (CMS) systems, and is offered on a 4/4/4/2 roster with options of residential or FIFO out of Brisbane available. Reporting to the Maintenance Reliability and Planning Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing support to the Maintenance team with a focus on the Contract Management Framework and ensuring all training records are current and compliant.  

You will identify and assist to implement opportunities to achieve efficient training processes and carry contractor meetings and audits in line with BHP Contractor Management Framework. The role requires significant amount of interaction and meetings with internal and external stakeholders, as such, the successful candidate will have a proven successful record on creating and maintaining positive relationships and assist our execution teams to reach training targets with minimal unplanned disruptions.  

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring Contractor compliance to BHP Contractor Management System 
  • Carry out meetings and audits on Contractor Management System
  • Liaise with Maintenance trainer & assessors to ensure compliance to business requirements
  • Assessment verification and data entry into relevant systems
  • Maintaining the CMS and Training systems
  • Booking external training providers, accommodation and inductions
  • Ensure all CMF & training documentation is verified, compliant and current
  • Creating and distributing CMF & Training reports to line leaders

About You

  • Relevant experience as an administrator with demonstrated success in Microsoft Suite – Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word
  • Experience in Contractor Management and Training preferable
  • Experience in SAP, Success Factors and/or LMS highly regarded
  • Knowledge and relevant experience in coal mining legislation highly advantageous 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic, positive and team player with can-do attitude
  • Proactive, motivated and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
