About the role

The role will involve being an active team member, providing support to the requirements of the Surface Maintenance team, by adhering to operating requirements and striving for the achievement of individual, team and site objectives as directed and is also responsible for providing confidential clerical and daily administrative support to the Manager Surface Maintenance. In this role you will:
§  Providing confidential clerical and administrative support on a daily basis to the Manager Surface Maintenance.
§  Providing administrative support for the Surface Maintenance function.
§  Collate Reports and Information for Leadership Team Meetings
§  Coordinate and assist in the Collation of Reports (both internal and external)
§  Support and coordinate Department visitors
§  Entering of purchase requisitions and reservations in SAP as required
§  Organising travel arrangements for the Surface Maintenance department
§  Booking conference rooms, laptop & data show and set up meeting requests as required.
§  Undertake the administrative function for the Surface Maintenance team including purchasing activities, travel bookings, monthly reporting, cost centre management etc.
§  Co-ordination of team meetings and functions
§  Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the functional area.
§  Exercise initiative in making recommendations for continuous improvement
§  Coordinating inductions, travel and accommodation for new starters, consultants and other personnel as required within the area department.
§  Sourcing and purchasing of goods and consumables within 1SAP, including reservations, requisitioning and service entries for all areas of Surface Maintenance.
§  Liaising and maintaining good relations with other administrators and departments across site.
§  Undertake all duties in both a timely manner and to a high standard of quality.
§  Participate in any other projects or key tasks as directed by line manager or delegate.
This is a residential role (5/2 Roster) at our Olympic Dam site.

About You

§  Experience responding to internal and external stakeholder inquiries in a courteous manner
§  Excellent knowledge and experience with the use of 1SAP
§  Demonstrated experience in customer service, word and excel programs, time management, multi-tasking, scheduling and strong telephone etiquette.
§  Proven ability to demonstrate appropriate behaviours
§  Ability to communicate across multiple levels and disciplines
§  Driving License
