About the role

BHP is looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to help guide us through our Cloud transformation journey. The company have traditionally been a waterfall organisation and have started moving into more Agile ways of working, embracing SAFe framework.

This role requires more than just coaching; you will also manage and track multiple streams of work, developing 100 day plans, putting in place a lean set of tools & processes that not only enables the team; but visualise the work getting done in a timely manner, the budget being consumed at an appropriate pace, the risk being called out and the general health of the delivery being transparent to all people involved

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to have solid enterprise experience and a strong understanding of both waterfall and agile project approaches, as our teams are still transitioning from waterfall to agile.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Delivery Lead capacity
  • Experience managing large, complex initiatives in an unpredictable environment
  • Help build roadmaps, Kanban boards, value chains, enablement streams, EPICS, and MVP.
  • Demonstrate a mature competency around managing an initiatives budget
  • A proven ability to influence the business, key internal and external stakeholders, team members and initiative outcomes
  • Experience with change management practices
  • Solid reporting, budget, risk & issue management
  • Experience implementing Agile & Lean frameworks in traditionally Waterfall environments.
  • Coaching teams in the value of Agile & Lean and assist with removing blockages.
  • A knowledgeable team is a productive team - you will bring your experience to make this a reality. .

Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Tertiary qualifications in STEM related degree
  • Appreciation of traditional project management frameworks/disciplines such as PMBOK or Prince2
  • Exposure to Scaled Agile (SAFe)
  • Foundation level AWS or relevant cloud provider certifications (desirable)
