About the role

Our Technology Function consists of Technology Partners who work closely with our Assets and Operations to drive improvement in safety, volume and cost through the application of world class technology. Global teams support our Partners, accelerating technology delivery and driving functional excellence.  Supporting the delivery teams are domain teams of subject experts that will ensure the capability of our platforms, roadmaps and standards, and provide service to projects when required.

In the Transform Applications domain, there are several sub teams that will be the home for the technical experts and the home for the management of the application portfolio. 

This role is the Business Analyst Specialist and is responsible for :
  • Responsible for the correct engagement between the business and technical teams, ensuring the correct gathering/elicitation/discovery of the business requirement for technology projects.
  • Responsible for managing the needs and tracking that the requirements embedded in the solutions meets the business needs and business strategy.
  • Responsible for supporting the Solution Architects, Solution Engineers, Specialists and peers in the right scoping of designs in order to ensure that are addressing the business needs and business strategy, based in reviews and acceptance criteria test against design and delivered solution

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Math/Science Discipline, or Information Technology/Business,  - OR related discipline or equivalent IT/OT experience
  • Fluent Spanish and English

Experience required
  • Establishes and manages plans and schedules to meet agreed deliverables.
  • At least 3 years relevant post-qualification experience with increasing levels of complexity and responsibilities 
  • Proven track record in delivery of Technology projects
    • Experience managing diverse cross-functional global teams and programs that range in size. 
    • Experience working with business functions aligning process with mining operations and the interactions between both domains
    • Cross-functional experience (Infrastructure, Application, IT, OT, etc.)
    • Knowledge of the BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) or similar frameworks is desirable.
    • Management consultancy experience desirable
    • Industry experience in copper productive process along the value chain, automation, telecommunications, resource planning, utilities or manufacturing is desirable.
    • Creativity in solving complex problems, building relationships and working collaboratively.
    • Can easily work with various team members with leadership and negotiating skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English
