The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. About the role

To support the ramp-up and ongoing operations of South Flank this Condition Monitoring Technician role is conducting preventative condition based inspections such as thickness testing, acoustic monitoring, infrared thermography, vibration analysis, lased alignment and oil analysis.

About You

We are seeking individuals with Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification minimum of 2 years’ experience as a condition-monitoring practitioner. Our preferred candidate should have the flowing qualifications: Vibration Level 1 & 2, Thermal Imaging Level 1, Ultrasonic Testing Level 1 and Laser Alignment Level 1.


We are looking for an individual who is passionate about continuous improvement of processes and plant performance and who would ensure constant compliance with all HSEC standards, policies, guidelines and procedures.
