About the role

The key focus of the role is to provide support for Operations Services site teams with mobile applications and technology, with a key focus on new starter experience. The role is part of our Onboarding team, ensuring all deployments are delivered on cost and schedule, and creating a positive Onboarding experience where new Operations Services employees feel informed and prepared for deployment.
  • Lead the setup of mobile applications and technology for Operations Services site teams, with a key focus on new starter experience.
  • Provide hands on support for site based teams in the use of technology including the roll out of any new mobility applications.
  • Develop and deliver a support schedule for Operations Services deployments which includes dedicated time at each site to understand issues and provide support to teams with regards to their mobility technology.
  • Attend orientation days and leaders week to provide coaching and support for new starters in the configuration and use of mobile applications and technology.
  • Tracking the ordering, action the goods receipting, and configure all iPads ahead of the orientation sessions.
  • Proactive engagement across Operations Services and Technology teams to achieve a positive experience for all current and new operations services employees.
  • Develop solutions to support the wider Resource Deployment team with regards to improving the Onboarding experience for new starters
  • Support the design and development of QRGs, cheat sheets and support materials for end users.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal business stakeholders and external partners.
  • Site travel including adherence to all site HSE requirements.
  • Active contribution of continuous improvement opportunities concerning mobile technology. This will include procurement, deployment and the operating model, with a focus on supporting sustainable growth.
  • Support for other Onboarding activities including PPE deliveries, orientation day support and logistics support. Act as a key contact for the Onboarding team on site.

This role will be based in Moranbah.

About You

  • You will have a strong customer focus and the ability to operate in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • You will be managing multiple and changing priorities and will need to be flexible, adaptable and resilient.
  • You will spend your week traveling between sites across the Bowen basin and as required travel to Brisbane and other Operations Services deployments across the nation.
  • We are looking for a self-starter, a problem solver, and someone who activity contributes to the continuous improvement of the Onboarding and employee experience.
  • You will cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation and positively influence and shape the culture to ensure a safe, productive and sustainable approach.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting end users and delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Experience in the use and setting up of mobile technology platforms, hardware and applications, with preference to exposure to current BHP applications.
  • Be a flexible, resourceful and collaborative problem-solver.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of business.
  • Prior experience utilizing technology and IT support systems including logging support requests and following these to completion.
