About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Shutdowns, Fixed Plant Maintenance, this role is a perfect opportunity to utilise and build upon your Supervisory experience, technical expertise and superior organisational skills to ensure the effective day to day coordination of shutdowns across fixed plant.
You will play an important role as subject matter expert and conduit for communication between the Maintenance, MCoE, and Production Departments, enabling the safe and efficient execution of scheduled and required maintenance works to be carried out, whilst developing the Electrical shutdown plan for the execution of minor and major shutdowns in conjunction with Planning and other stakeholders.
This role offers a family friendly 8 days on 6 days off roster. Yandi is located approximately 170kms North of Newman West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, golf driving range, mini golf, netted cricket pitch, beach volleyball court and recreation room. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, internet, refrigerator and air-conditioning.

There are a few requirements that will further support your application and subsequent success in this role including; substantial experience supervising multiple workgroups; Electrical trade qualification supported by previous fixed plant trades experience in a similar remote environment; the ability to communicate plans effectively; knowledge of relevant fixed plant and equipment; knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices; proven experience organising and coordinating plant shutdowns; Working knowledge of project management principles; SAP Knowledge is desirable.  As a pre-requisite you must have a Full C Class driver’s licence.
