About the role

Purpose

Provides a value lens for decisions, distil insights and offer expert advice to support operations, functions and finance sub functions through having integrated fit-for-purpose analytics and delivering data driven solutions.

Core Accountabilities
  • Convert business problems into financial opportunity by identifying unique patterns and trends within complex integrated data sets
  • Participates actively of the planning cycle for all Minerals Americas assets
  • Support assets and functions to identify and quantify gaps in financial performance and improvement opportunities
  • Drive benchmarking and best practice in financial performance across assets and functions
  • Provide clear prioritisation rationale and expected service level for customer queries
  • Independently drive own analysis agenda to share new opportunities
  • Convey improvement opportunities in simple, clear, timely ways to facilitate fast decision-making
  • Delivery of service tightly integrated with A&R, FBP and any other analytics activity with no duplicated 

About You

Qualifications & Experience required
  • Degree qualification in Business or related discipline
  • Data science or related discipline is a desirable
  • Working in and navigating stakeholders in a highly complex, global and dynamic organisation – requiring indirect influence.
  • Operational Commercial and Financial background
  • Available to travel to Operations
