About the role

You will support the design and implementation of BHP Operating System (BOS) methodology in focus areas/activities during the deployment phase, as well as embed core routines and behavioral change among operational leadership to sustain the BOS program of work.
Other core accountabilities: 
  • Coach and build capability of the Site Coach and BOS teams in their initial BOS practices build and implementation;
  • Support the approach and implementation of BOS practices in focus areas and activities during the deployment phase;
  • Knowledge share and guidance of practical, physical and visual application of BOS tools and methods, in line with the BOS deployment model;
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and transformational changes then drives, owns and champions delivery;
  • Lead the design and implementation of BOS tools and methods in focus areas and activities during the deployment phase.

About You

We are looking for individuals that possess business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following;
  • Thorough understanding of BHP Operating System and continuous improvement philosophies, content and tools and the ability to apply a range of tools to make data driven decisions;
  • Demonstrated experience leading or coaching senior leadership in a matrix environment;
  • Strong customer focus and ability to understand their values and needs;
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations with senior level stakeholders;
  • Proven experience implementing or building content for a range continuous improvement tools in a range of operational environments.
