The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. This project has potential to become one of the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.

About the role


A multi-million dollar investment has been made towards an impressive fleet of mobile equipment, including the market’s latest models of dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, drills and haul trucks.  We seek highly experienced, energetic and safety focused Cat D10 and D11 Dozer Operators enthused by the opportunity to be part of a start up operation, building one of the world’s largest iron ore mine sites in the world.


We offer permanent full-time opportunities with highly sought after employee benefits such as BHP’s Superannuation contribution scheme, flexible rosters, annual bonus incentive as well as access to BHP’s renowned share programme. The roster will be based on a foundation of two weeks on (1 week days, 1 week nights), 1 week off, but those in pursuit of flexible work arrangements are encouraged to apply. 

About You

It is essential to have demonstrated CAT D10 or D11 operating experience. A current, valid ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence is a requirement for this role. A HR Licence is also advantageous.
