The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. This project has potential to become one of the largest standalone iron ore processing centres in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore.

About the role

As the Electrical Technician, you will start with document control and review, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the Fixed Plant at South Flank. Post commissioning you will be responsible to undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance of plant & equipment as per work management processes, maintenance schedules, and work instructions.

About You

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in commissioning and is familiar with VVVF / VSD / HV / LV / Control systems / PLC etc. To be successful in this role you would also have processing and industrial maintenance/troubleshooting background. 

You will hold a HV switching ticket, have a Trade Certificate in Electrical Fitting and a valid A-Grade electrical license.
