About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Technology OT Site Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Investigate/Analyse control system improvement proposed by production, maintenance and project teams
  • Provide support in the development and updating of process functional description documents
  • Work with project teams to ensure that all operation readiness requirements are incorporated in design work, procurement and construction
  • Assist 24/7 maintenance teams with control system related delays
  • Review and evaluate control system change impacts considering all functional safety requirements
  • Support Technology OT Processing Improvement team maintaining and updating standards related to Technology Control Systems
  • Investigate/Analyse control system improvement proposed by production and maintenance

About You

We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic and driven individuals of all levels who are degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Control Systems engineering. Your stakeholder engagement skills will foster a collaborative working approach, and with strong problem-solving skills you will deliver expertise to these key stakeholders with a focus on safety, process optimisation, improvements and downtime elimination.
Experience·    Configuration and management of:-      Allen Bradley PLCs (other PLC’s will be considered)-      Industrial Communication Networks such as PROFIBUS, DeviceNet (Essential)·    Understanding of machine componentry and subsystems including hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic and electrical substation control. (Essential)
