About the role

Purpose 

To provide support for OT infrastructure and assure control systems platforms availability, in alignment with safety and operational requisitions. 

Core Accountabilities
  • Safety and HSE Culture, including contractors under OT scope
  • OT infrastructure availability for process areas which include: 
  • Field equipment (local controllers, communication switches)
  • Servers (Workstations, Services Servers, Enginnering stations)
  • Control Systems Platforms (Expert Systems, Comms Services, HMI)
  • Logic program and parameters integrity. Logic Bypass administration
  • Contractor coordination at site for OT support services
  • Support for execution of small improvement OT projects

About You

Qualifications 
  • Electronic or electrical engineer with specialization in Automation and/or Industrial Control. 

Experience & Technical Competencies
  • Control System Operation Experience – 3 years experience minimum
  • Mining Operation Experience – 2 years experience minimum
  • Experience in any Control Systems Platforms: Siemens PCS7 – ABB 800XA – Honeywell Experion.
  • Network management and support (desirable)

Languages
  • Spanish (fluent) – English (basic)
