As a Mine Engineer – Life of Mine you will play a key role in creating regular updates of Life-of-Mine schedules (quarterly as a minimum) and the assessment of impacts of short term deviations in the LoM sequence and ability to achieve committed OFR. You will identify risks and opportunities, manage change and communicate the operating strategy without compromising on quality and sustainability, whilst maximising productivity.
Reporting to the Superintendent Production Scheduling, Yandi, you will play an integral role by:

  • The LoM Schedule should be an integrated detailed schedule of all required mining activities (including drill & blast and load & haul sequencing) to ensure the safe and on-time delivery of committed OFR and quality targets to processing plants and railing. The LoM Schedule will secure the smooth ramp down of Yandi that matches the South Flank ramp up.
