About the role

If you are a self-motivated, forward-thinking Executive Assistant who is ready to make a difference, then this is an excellent opportunity for you.    Reporting to the Asset President Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO), you will join an inclusive and performance-orientated culture, where you will make a difference each day through providing outstanding support to this dynamic and engaging Senior Executive.      

In this role, you will be responsible for: 
  • Working closely with the Asset President and the Asset Leadership team to foster an inclusive, diverse and high performance culture across WAIO;
  • Optimising time management routines and requests to enable efficient organisation and execution of activities for the Asset President;
  • Contributing to simplifying management routines (scheduling meetings, optimising agendas, driving improvement);
  • Supporting the Communication team to create exciting and engaging communication for internal platforms;
  • Travel coordination and event management.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and professional Executive Assistant or Planner with previous experience supporting a Senior Executive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a proven ability to work autonomously and proactively to establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines while upholding a high level of confidentiality.  Your strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills will be unrivalled, as will your attention to detail and your talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. 

  Your keen interest in proactive communication and employee engagement, as well as a problem solving and improvement mindset, will be highly regarded. You will be an advocate for leveraging technologies to enable collaboration and the simplification of tasks and possess advanced digital literacy. Previous experience with SAP would be beneficial.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable individual to join a high performing team.
