About the role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Olympic Dam Surface team where you will work with the General Manager - Surface to provide administration support and lift the capacity of the teams.  This will include the following responsibilities: 
  • Diary management to enable the efficient organisation and execution of daily activities for General Manager and his team;
  • Scheduling meetings, as well as preparing agendas, presentations and reports, minute taking, coordinating attendance, logistics, video-conferencing and teleconferencing as required;
  • Managing travel arrangements;
  • Email management;
  • Using SAP for purchasing (POs/ PRs) and expense reconciliation;
  • Working closely with the GM to identify time optimisation solutions to forward plan work in respect to arrangement of meetings, preparation for meetings, and coordination of travel; and
  • Assisting with any other ad hoc duties. 
  • The role can be FIFO or residential with flexibility for the right candidate.  

About You

You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who has previously supported a Senior Executive in a large organisation with a proven ability to work autonomously, proactively able to establish priorities and meet time critical deadlines.  Your strong communication, problem solving and organisational skills will be an asset, as will your attention to detail and your talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be an advocate for leveraging digital technologies to enable collaboration and the simplification of tasks, and possess strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Sharepoint and Video Conferencing.  Previous experience with SAP would be beneficial.
