About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Execution within the Fixed Plant East team your duties will include:
  • Liaise with Scheduling, Plant Control and Mining Production to ensure plans are executed appropriately.
  • Provide input into production strategies, budgets, and plans as well as the improvement of work management processes.
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation.
  • Monitor compliance against HSEC policies, procedures and systems through quality Field Leadership.
  • Review of all detailed scopes of work to optimise execution efficiency.
  • Engaging with multiple stakeholders to deliver efficient maintenance execution ensuring resource utilisation is optimised
  • Engage with Fixed Plant Execution teams to prioritise resources to maintain optimal plant availability.
  • Provide input into the shutdown schedule to identify opportunities to reduce duration and risk.
  • Provide coaching and leadership support for Fixed Plant Execution supervisors

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
  • Trade/relevant qualification within an equivalent industry and/or organisational experience 
  • Experience in a Fixed Plant Processing Production facility essential
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment is essential 
  • Ability to identify and implement safe work practices 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to communicate and follow plans clearly and concisely in a maintenance environment
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong understanding of maintenance practices in a processing plant.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Self-reliant contributor with distinctive proficiency in executing and supervising maintenance activities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and 1SAP
  • Minimum of C Class Drivers License


You will be based in Newman, Western Australia. You will be working at the closely located ‘Eastern Ridge’ mine site, Located approximately 15 minutes from Newman.

The 7,000 strong population of Newman enjoys well-established town facilities including a newly revitalised town centre and sporting facilities.  As a gateway to the Karijini national park, you will be in close proximity to spectacular gorges, watercourses and stunningly unique landscapes.
