About the role

Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, we have a newly created unique opportunity for a high performing professional to join the Fixed Plant leadership team as a Maintenance Superintendent –Execution at South Flank. This role will apply maintenance and operations expertise to influence projects infrastructure and operational readiness scope to deliver an inherently safe, reliable, maintainable and operable site. The role will also provide operational support and leadership during commissioning phase.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years’ superintendent level maintenance/execution experience in mining, processing or any other industry with ability of leading diverse high performing teams on site operations. This role is pivotal in providing ongoing commitment to Field Leadership through focus on engineering/design opportunities to mitigate risk.

The scope of this role is to lead the Fixed Plant Maintenance teams accountable for Modular Maintenance, Condition Monitoring and other execution accountabilities, through being a strategic thinker with complex judgement and analytical ability for problem resolution. You will have outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organisational levels including senior management.

To be considered for this role, you will have either tertiary qualification in mining/resources discipline or trade qualification in any of the transferable Maintenance, Condition Monitoring or execution skill sets. You’ll possess exceptional relationship management capability and previous experience leading and influencing change in challenging and complex environment at superintendent level. You will have a proven record of accomplishment of safety management accompanied with demonstrated risk management acumen.
