About the role

We seek highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Lead Global Mobility, the Analyst Global Mobility will be responsible to provide effective and high quality support with the delivery of Global Mobility (GM) and Domestic Relocation (DR) services, guidance, and advice to employees and all Businesses in the Region.

Core Accountabilities
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC)
  • Support the GAS HR Reward GM team in analytical and reporting aspects of executing the full end-to-end case management of GM assignments.
  • Be accountable for AssignmentPro reporting and bulk activity management in the team such as running reports on AssignmentPro, data audits and management, support to year-end processes (including tax reporting/filings), and managing audit-related data activities.
  • Provide analytic support, as needed, to the specialists within team
  • Be responsible for maintenance of and operational updates to the AssignmentPro system, such as updates to drop-down lists, contacts, business names, templates, system upgrades and testing, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of the invoicing processes including reviewing reports from the outsource provider, approval of expense allocations, oversee the cross-charging process of assignee expenses.
  • Maintain and update processes, tools, templates and systems to support the execution of all GM case management activities.
  • Support the team to execute and monitor all periodic and annual GM processes, including but not limited to quarterly compensation collection, year-end tax reporting and salary review activities.
  • Support GM Specialists to maintain IA data in Assignment Pro and external Vendor third party systems to ensure completeness and accuracy of records. Understand risks and provide input into mitigations and action planning.  Ensure Risk Management protocols are incorporated into operational activities.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify current processes, remove duplication and minimize hand-offs to enhance standardization and efficiency.
  • Support the development of an inclusive culture where employees are encouraged to ‘speak-up’ and offer their thoughts and opinions at all levels.
  • Ensure alignment with, and compliance to, internal controls including the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Documents, agreements, systems, standards and procedures

Technical Competencies:
Experience with and understanding of:
  • Invoicing and supply processes
  • GM policies and processes (desirable but not essential)
  • Payroll processes and reporting, and data management (desirable)
  • Use of tools and technology
  • Strong analytical and excel skills
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility and/or international Reward roles is desirable, e.g. professional services or Global Mobility/Reward in-house specialist roles and/or a tertiary degree in Human Resources or Business Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Some experience with, and understanding of, functional and technical GM competencies is desirable.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in SAP and AssignmentPro systems or ability to learn.
  • Demonstrated oral and written English language proficiency. Spanish language proficiency an advantage.
  • Can work in the afternoon/evening shift.
Languages:
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Spanish skills would be an added advantage
