As the HSE Administrator you will provide clerical and administrative support to the Health, Security and Emergency Services team, and the broader HSE team. Administrate all medical assessment and treatment services ensuring timely follow up to maintain legislative and BHP HSE standards.   This position is based on site at Olympic Dam working at the site health centre, working a 7/7 roster Thursday through to Wed day shift only.    

In this role you will:    
  • Administrate employee medical assessment and rehabilitation reviews: book medical appointments liaising with staff, line managers and Site Health personnel
  • Manage patient administration upon presentation to Olympic Dam Medical Centre
  • Accommodation and travel bookings as required
  • Administration and reception assistance to the Site Health team including OHNs, Injury Management Specialist, Supervisor Health ,Medical Practitioners and Physiotherapist
  • Management of medical accounts for the provision of medical services and medical supplies
  • Coordinate and complete 1SAP ordering and purchasing for supplies and contract services.
  • Supports continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.

About You

You will have previous experience working within a medical administration position which has given you exposure to medical terminology. Your ability to identify issues and solve problems will be one of your strengths, along with having experience with the Microsoft Office Suite with an understanding of medical databases and accounting systems.
