About the role

The BHP Petroleum Internship Program was established to give students first-hand experience of working in a petroleum company alongside oil and gas professionals. Interns will work as part of an integrated team on a specific challenging project. The Program was built for a unique experience that offers professional development while networking with other interns, graduates, and senior management. Our executive leader panel sessions additionally allow for continued growth while supporting an inclusive and diverse culture and work environment focused on caring and trust.  

 In this role you may have exposure to: 
  • Onshore or offshore conventional operations and activities 
  • Health, Safety, and Environment groups 
  • Multi-disciplinary teams 

About You

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Hygiene,  or Public Health,  
  • GPA of 3.25 or above 
  • Must be available 18 May  – 7 August 2020 
  • Must have a graduate date of December 2020 or later
