Reporting to the Asset President we have an exciting opportunity to join our BMC and NSWEC Asset as Head of Engineering and be part of a dynamic and inclusive lead team.

Engineering at BMC and NSWEC plays a critical role in ensuring safety and stability of each Operation. The engineering function is responsible for managing the capital portfolio, governing and protecting the integrity of assets across the operations. As Head of Engineering the scope of your role will be both strategic and operational, ensuring the delivery of capital projects and technical projects mitigating risks, achieving cost optimisation and technical excellence.

About You

As part of the Senior Management Team the below attributes will be key to your success:
  • Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams to deliver positive results in safety, culture and productivity; 
  • A driven leader who is able to inspire teams of engineering professionals by driving change and building a diverse and inclusive environment;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in engaging stakeholders within a complex organisation at all levels;
  • Experience in sustaining a high level of Asset Integrity;
  • Tertiary and/or Post Graduate qualification in Engineering (or related discipline) or equivalent industry and/or organisational experience;
