About the role

We seek highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as a Lead Planning This role manages the day-to-day activities of the GAS Planning team, is responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of the team’s deliverables and driving continuous improvement. The role manages the end to end planning processes assigned to the GAS Planning team and ensures overall process governance. The role will work closely with the Planning & Analysis Council and Reporting Managers Forum to ensure enterprise standardization and adherence to the planning process.

Core Accountabilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor four direct reports to ensure delivery against performance targets.
  • Establish a value-driven and consistent culture across the GAS Planning team that is metrics driven, action-oriented and drives continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in governance routines to provide input on items such as process scope and service delivery and assist in resolving operational issues.
  • Coordinate Forecast, Budget and 5 Year Plan financial submissions including review of instructions, timetables and checklists. 
  • Oversee the maintenance of master data quality and ensure global planning assumptions are updated/maintained appropriately.
  • Oversee the governance and integrity (data accuracy/completeness) of the Prime financial planning system.
  • In collaboration with key internal stakeholders, manage and prioritize pipeline of Prime financial planning system improvement initiatives in order to deliver maximum productivity benefit for business users, including analysis of business processes to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Drive the adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud through ensuring a robust training and engagement plan is executed and championing system usage.
  • Keep up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in planning and business intelligence.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and provide assistance with queries and request

About You

Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in Commerce (Finance or Accounting)
  • Professional accounting designation
Experience & Technical Competencies
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience working with a large corporate or professional environment in a business planning capacity.
  • Demonstrated financial planning process knowledge, data analytics and diagnosis with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and deliver as needed.
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure and master data management principles.
  • Experience working with Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 11.0 (embedded) and SAP Analytics Cloud planning highly advantageous.
Non-Technical Competencies:
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent Spanish, both verbal and written a benefit.
