About the role

Reporting to the Head of BHP Operating System (BOS) Development and Planning, you will be responsible for the development and governance of the BOS Strategy and execution process, extending to the building of respective site and functional deployment strategies, program level change management and communication and integration of BOS within other BHP transformation programs.

 Other core accountabilities:

• Govern and refresh BOS Strategy, including Doctrine and GLD. Lead cascade of material changes.
• Develop deployment approaches for Operations and Functions
• Develop and maintain deployment execution process tools and collateral, including the development of the Standard deployment model guidance and supporting toolkits
• Leads specialist SME design team
• Lead the development of Program level change strategy and supporting collateral
• BOS conduit with BHP Transformation Office and peer transformation teams leading BOS content as part of wider integration initiatives
• Responsible for driving integration agenda between BOS and other programs areas with overlap/ duplication

About You

We are looking for individuals that possess business knowledge, demonstrate excellence in leadership on a day-to-day basis, who are innovative with a bias to action, effectively influence others and have a strong ability to build capability in others and lead change.

 As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:

• Experience stewarding strategic/ change transformations
• Deep experience working and the strategic level and translating to tactical level execution plans
• Experience leading teams of SME’s
• Experience working with a continuous improvement culture
• Proven experience building or implementing processes/ developing content to drive a continuous improvement mindset / culture/ outcomes
• Ability to apply an understanding of business context to support the achievement of value through capability development
• Strong customer focus and ability to understand their values and needs
• Ability to implement and sustain change management
