About the role

Manager Workforce Acquisition and Movements works as part of the HR Operations Team to provide a seamless HR service to line leaders and employees across key elements of the employee lifecycle. Managers are expected to work across a range of HR processes within their own team and across the HR function globally.

Core accountabilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a large team to deliver quality and timely services across the employee lifecycle
  • Plan and manage staff performance including poor performance, conflict management, scheduling of needs and staff training needs
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and balance BAU deliverables 
  • Work collaboratively with peers and other HR teams to deliver business outcomes with end to end process thinking
  • Ensure alignment with and compliance to internal controls including the Operational Plan, Group Level Documents, agreements, systems, standards and procedures
  • Monitor internal controls and legislative compliance for role to ensure procedures are up to date
  • Monitor changes to internal and external legal, regulatory and reporting
  • Ensure alignment with, and compliance to, internal controls including the BHP Charter and Code of Business Conduct, Group Level Documents, agreements, systems, standards and procedures. 

About You

  • 10 years or more in HR Shared Service 
  • Degree in Human Resources or business related field
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills 
  • Continuous improvement mindset and solutions orientated 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively and cohesively with large teams
  • Previous experience managing teams across multiple locations
