About the role

The Manager Integrated Planning is responsible for Operations Services safety and productivity delivering high value analysis, integrated plans and forecast enabling optimum use of all available resources improving safety and productivity. What we are looking for:
  • Strong leadership in Health, Safety, Environment management and the sustainable development of Operations Services people.
  • Develop and manage Operations Services Integrated plans to deliver improved safety, productivity and utilisation of all available resources.
  • Manage and report compliance to plan and use data to identify insights to improve productivity and performance.
  • Integrate Operations Services by managing forecasting process across all OS activities.
  • Manage the integration of OS business planning into broader BHP planning cycles (CAP).
  • Lead the business planning process for Operations Services and develop business plans in coordination with OS Senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on performance to all the key stakeholders to improve future plans, designs, schedules and forecasts;
  • Lead the provision of insights, analysis and reporting to support Operations Services and leader decision making.
  • Identify strategic opportunities that deliver long-term value for the business; validate the strategic direction and identify the key priorities.
  • Implement the OS Planning team’s business improvements projects, technology initiatives and business processes.
  • Support the implementation of cohesive, OS-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

With significant leadership, strategic planning experience, you will demonstrate:
  • Ability to analyse complex situations, provide strategic advice and offer business solutions and support for OS leaders.
  • Ability to present complex ideas or data cohesively to a wide range of audiences (C-level, senior leadership, technical teams and business users).
  • Strong interpersonal, consultation and presentation skills
  • High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to demonstrate a high level of autonomy in complex decision making and responsiveness;
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence leaders through informal methods;
  • Proactive and innovative, continually challenging the status quo.
  • Ability to cope with multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Effective at leading change, setting direction and context for all stakeholders.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply integrative thinking to develop strategic advice, deliver briefings on complex issues and be alert to risks and opportunities; and
  • Proven ability to build, grow and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
