About the role

Reporting into the Head of Systems Engineering, the Manager of Requirements Analysis & Solution Architecture duties will include;
  • Directing the team in the end-to-end detailed analysis of process, data, and system effectiveness, diagnose business problems, identification of improvement opportunities and quantification of value proposition.
  • Development of subject matter experts and technical expertise within your team to enable sustainable change outcomes for Technology
  • Leading the overall effort in transforming technical requirement into logical decomposition models and requirements, reviewing and approving products, resolving issues, and maintaining relationships for highest level internal, external, and international contacts
  • Determining the maximum capability of existing production technology systems and capability limitations in current work processes and systems. Challenging how the Asset can achieve more value from existing technology.
  • Performing company-wide analysis of internal benchmarks. Verifies industry and external benchmarks to diagnose capability gaps in existing production technologies.
  • Providing technical leadership through the allocation of resources,  
  • Providing inputs to vendors on product development requirements.
  • Leading the performance of team members, with regular mentoring and support to further develop their ability to manage their respective technical domains.

About You

  • Graduate qualifications in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
  • Prior leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Specific experience with the implementation and use of control systems, automation, engineering design, production design and business improvement.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and Test and Evaluation methodology
  • Preferably industry experience in operational technology, mining production, minerals processing, manufacturing or utilities.
  • Experience in technology or engineering.
  • Proactive and innovative, continually challenging the status quo. 
  • Courage to identify issues and intervene as appropriate. 
  • Experience leveraging collaboration with industry,  government and professional associations
  • Effective at leading change, setting direction and context for all stakeholders.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Learning agility, curious and self-motivated to learn and seeking to understand what good truly looks like.
  • Able to comfortably interact with line management in Operations and Functions.
