About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Geology you will be responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting geological data. The role is focussed on delivery of best practice grade control and mining geology core routines. It is fundamental to the flow of information from the Geoscience function into production scheduling and mine planning.

This role offers a great team culture and opportunities to develop technically, advance processes and improve systems. The role will require a continuous improvement mind-set and ability adapt to change.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
  • Tertiary qualification in Geology/ Geo-Science (or related discipline), or equivalent industry
  •  An ability to process and interpret geological data is essential
  • Good mapping techniques along with good communication skills is essential
  • Strong logistical planning, project management and  leadership skills;
  • Sound skills with industry standard mining and geological softwares and systems including Vulcan and Leapfrog
  • Experience preferably within an open cut mining environment
  • Minimum of C class manual drivers licence


In this dynamic role you will be based at Area C, one of our mine sites based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia and will be operating on a fly-in fly-out 8/6 roster.  Our FIFO villages have a wide range of facilities and all rooms have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
