About the role

BHP (BMC) is Australia's largest metallurgical coal miner and exporter. BHP continues to build upon its strong position within the sector by increasing production at existing operations and identifying strong growth opportunities.
We are currently seeking experienced Multi Skilled Operators to fill multiple positions in our Dragline and Mine Services teams in the Production Overburden Department at South Walker Creek.
Ideally candidates will possess a sound technical knowledge and experience in equipment operation within a coal mining environment and hold two or more of the below competences:
  •  Dragline, D10 or D11 Dozer, Grader, Loader, Moxy, Rigid Body Water Truck and Excavator

  • The adaptability to operate to changing work conditions and required mining techniques.
  • Compliance and knowledge with relevant mine site safety procedures, safe work instructions, standard operating procedures, legislation and rules
  • The ability to actively employ the BHP Charter Values.
