Operations Services (OS) is a division of BHP that provides Production and Maintenance services across Minerals Australia. With an emphasis on career development, OS offers permanent employment which focuses on people, connection and performance. These positions include flexible working arrangements and full leave entitlements, incorporating:

  • Parental Leave.
Operations Services already provides employment to more than 2000 team members and we plan to grow our teams in  2020. 

About the role

We are currently recruiting experienced Production Operators to join our teams across inland Queensland. Our operations extend across the Minerals Australia business and we are looking for people with on-the-job experience operating:
  • Haul Trucks – Cat 797, 793 789
  • Dozer D10 or D11
  • Grader Cat 16M & 24M 
Rosters:  7/7 roster on Bowen Basin sites

Team sizes: Operations Services has smaller teams so you can expect a real authentic connection to your supervisor and your peers, with a passion to delivery high quality work with a genuine focus on safety

Travel: Transportation to site is provided from nominated point’s specific to each team, this will be discussed during the recruitment process. OS is also offering a direct self-funded flight via Hevilift from Townsville to Moranbah and we encourage local residents to apply for these permanent job opportunities.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to one of our upcoming virtual engagement centres.

  • Comprehensive reading and writing skills

Candidates interested in gaining experience with machinery (with no prior exposure), are recommended to apply for new to industry roles when advertised.
