About the role

We are currently seeking Trades Assistants to join our teams in the Bowen Basin, QLD. OS is offering a self-funded flight service from Townsville to Moranbah and encourage local residents to apply for these permanent job opportunities.You can expect an attractive roster (variable depending on location), competitive remuneration including annual bonus and a continuous focus on developing you to be the best you can be. About You

We are looking for people from a broad range of backgrounds who can bring their passion and enthusiasm to implementing new ideas.Our ideal candidate will possess:
    • Previous experience in mining will be highly regarded, although not essential
    • A strong desire to learn and a high level of enthusiasm to develop a range of new skills
    • A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedures
    • A teamwork mentality to achieve results
    • Ability to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
    • Effective listening and well developed interpersonal skills
