About the role

The purpose of your role is to support the sustainable embedding of the long term direction of the Operations Services business through the implementation of  specific integrated and aligned plans that unlock the value. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing integrated cross-functional business plans to enable the achievement of our strategy and business priorities.

In this newly created Principal Business Planning Brisbane based role you will be dedicated to supporting the Operations Services Production team. Your focus on maximising value, supported by sound process management and effective engagement across multiple stakeholders, will be utilised to facilitate the delivery of strategy activities. You will help to further develop the planning framework for the Business, and drive this towards improved effectiveness and efficiency.

In this role you will:
  • Engagement with leaders to set and refresh the strategic imperatives.
  • Identify strategic opportunities that deliver long-term value for the business.
  • Validate the strategic direction and identify the key priorities for the horizons.
  • Develop and implement appropriate governance processes and documentation to ensure adequate review of assumptions, outcomes and recommendations. 
  • Ensure Long Term Planning assumptions are robust, consistent and achievable.
  • Ensure Analysis and Planning objectives are achieved within budget.
  • Be leading I&D improvement and overall improvement program initiatives. 
  • Provide and co-ordinate in conjunction with Operational Readiness support for new deployments.
  • Key touch point for development of supporting programs and plans.
