About the role

Provide expert coaching in continuous improvement methods, tools and techniques to Commercial teams in order to enable a self-service continuous improvement mindset (in line with the BHP Operating System)

  • Drive a culture of ownership regarding continuous improvement (CI) across the Commercial function
  • Improve the Commercial function’s capability and capacity to manage self-serve CI through the coaching and upskilling of Commercial personnel in CI tools, techniques and methods, including coaching Commercial leaders to coach their team members 
  • Provide expertise to facilitate advanced problem-solving and solution-generation to address complex problems and bottlenecks in the Commercial value chain
  • Provide coaching support to create a solid business case to support Requests for Change and Opportunity Assessments 

About You

  • Experience in application of advanced CI methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Extensive coaching experience
  • Workshop design and facilitation
  • Business case development 
  • Continuous experience in B2B
  • Experience in continuous improvement
  • Lean six sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Top-Down Problem Solving methods
  • Agile mindset/principles
  • Excellent English communication skills
