About the role

Reporting directly into the Head of ERP, this role has the accountability for the strategy, roadmap and architecture of the ERP Solution;
Accountabilities include the following:
  • Owns and maintains the overall ERP application and technical architecture 
  • Collaborates with and provides architectural leadership to ERP managers and architects to deliver fit for purpose solutions to the business. 
  • Works collaboratively with enterprise architecture and other technology domain areas to ensure that ERP architecture is aligned to overall technology strategy
  • Maintains strong relationship with ERP ecosystem solution providers and provides input related to their roadmap, based on business and technology requirements. 
  • Provide architectural leadership in opportunity assessments and support the related portfolio planning & prioritization
  • Support ongoing technical reviews through the architecture board/panel process and provide technical directions for escalated technical issues
  • Identify fundamental digital technology patterns that relates to work across the organization and design future strategies associated with ERP

About You

Technical Competencies
  • 15-20 years of enterprise experience specialising in the design and architecture of ERP Solutions specifically SAP, working for a global multinational
  • Solid technical understanding and implementation experience of the next generation ERP solutions, such as SAP Intelligent enterprise suite- S/4 HANA and other and digital platform – Cloud Platform
  • Prior successful delivery experience with global, large and complex SAP projects in an global architect role
  • Experience in developing strategic global enterprise architecture models, roadmaps and plans.
  • Good understanding of ERP business processes preferably related to the mining and Oil,Gas industries
  • Design and configuration experience in any SAP solution modules 
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent STEM.
  • Relevant ERP Certification and TOGAF certification
