About the role

We currently have an exciting new opportunity in the Petroleum HR team based in Houston for a Principal HR Consulting, reporting to the Manager HR Consulting Americas. The focus of this role will be to provide required HR activities to support Petroleum’s leaders in the execution of their people strategy and culture plans.
Your key accountabilities include:
  • Provide expert on demand support and advice to line leaders on Performance, structure design, team culture, leadership and labor relations.
  • Scope and lead mid or small HR Projects
  • Conduct Ethics point Investigations
  • Provides data analysis in support of HRBP’s initiatives and business decision making
  • Work across different areas of the business to drive an integrated delivery and seek opportunities to enable synergies and a common approach
  • Facilitate new ways of working and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Build a One HR culture, while driving results for customers

About You

You will be a proactive and high-performing individual with strong human resources background and execution skills, who can effectively work autonomously and drive accountability for objectives, while also ensuring integration in planning and execution within HR Operations and across functional boundaries. You will also be able to effectively engage with your stakeholders, find solutions and drive alignment, demonstrating strong influencing skills and taking action to persuade and adapt your engagement approach in order to achieve the desired outcome.

Pivotal experience for the role includes:
  • Seven plus years of experience across the full spectrum of HR activity, including performance, talent, culture and foundational HR processes.
  • Experience and knowledge in SAP Payroll
  • Track record of effective and efficient delivery of work, consistently high quality outcomes for their customers
  • Strong demonstrated experience working in HR organizations, ideally with experience supporting mid- size projects and/or business initiatives
  • Resourceful and demonstrated ability to work in the grey space and find solutions
  • Has experience in or knowledge of Agile methodologies
