About the role

As the Principal-Integrated Planning you will provide the single point accountability for the process control of material movement for production accounting in the nominate system (SAP) for BMA. Be the Business Process Data Lead to ensure the adoption and sustainability of 1SAP processes and effective system use. Some of your accountabilities will include:
  • Monitoring and governing EOM process for all operations to ensure timely handover of process from Operations to Finance;
  • Perform checks to ensure reporting systems match the single source of truth for production accounting of stock movement (inventories, coal flows from uncovery to railing) and hold operations accountable for correcting errors;
  • Become a trusted business partner to assist Operations with SAP uploads and stock movements;
  • Perform tasks to assist with SRF process, particularly with reporting aggregated asset information and the collection of Operational inputs and data;
  • Report on operational discipline in relation to production changes via material change approval, EOM & SRF process time and quality adherence;
  • Responsible for escalating and actioning issues with SAP that prevent the accurate monitoring and reporting of production goods movements;
  • Maintain company obligations in relation to SOX compliance for production accounting and goods inventory movement for production;
  • Maintain 1SAP Master Data for production accounting;
  • Improve business processes in relation to production accounting systems and planning process;
  • Support and train BPDC’s and end users in use of production accounting systems.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance or Business is highly desirable. You would also be an Advanced User in 1SAP and understand mine site production reporting systems. Proven experience in a similar role would be well regarded. Demonstrated experience in collecting multiple data sets and error checking, validation and reporting of aggregated data effectively to Senior Management is essential as well.  You will also need superior written and verbal communication skills (across all levels with simple, inclusive language and vocabulary)  to build a share understanding with the team.
