About the role

Purpose:
  • Deal with litigation procedures and managing external law firms.
  • Participate in negotiations with Prosecutors and Public Authorities on various matters.


Core Accountabilities:
  • Support and participate in the negotiation processes with Prosecutors, Public Defenders, and Public Institutions.
  • Cooperate in the management of all litigation cases and efforts. 
  • Discuss strategies, manage law firms and contracts.

About You

Experience and Technical Competencies:
  • Lawyer graduated in Brazil with postgraduate studies.
  • Be part of the Association of Lawyers in Brazil.
  • 10+ years of experience in similiar positions as a senior litigation lawyer.
  • Multidisciplinary approach from legal perspective but specialized in litigation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience leading with govern, judges, prosecutors, federal agents.
  • Capable of working in a competitive team as well as alone.
  • Plug and play, ready to immediately add value.
  • Strong concern with safety and security.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Project delivery skills.
  • Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • Fluent in Spanish (not mandatory).
