About the role

Principal PMO & Performance is responsible for Data Analytics, portfolio value realisation tracking, functional performance tracking and in the PMO role, de-risking Procurement’s performance to plan through lead indicator analysis and work allocation prioritisation.

  • Build trusted relationships and effectively influence key Procurement and Functional stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively across Procurement (Procurement Excellence and Strategic Procurement) to develop our foundations for data analytics

·       Delivering and supporting activities such that Procurement meets the Business Plan and KPI’s

·       Performance analysis for Procurement, actuals against plans in the Procurement scorecard to understand the gaps and provide guidance to the Value Chain teams

·       Design and deploy analytics and data governance for Procurement, defining data quality and standards for Systems

·       Support the design of Mark to Market methodology/tools: based on category prioritisation, to ensure we are capturing the full value in our contracts through the value chain teams

·       Support the PMO processes to standardize and track Procurement plans, giving visibility of progress & delays to the line and decision makers

  • Support on the definitions of dashboards, metrics and tools to track the Procurement performance and the value delivered for the Business

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial, operational mining, continuous improvement, or business consultancy background. You will have the ability to deal with and influence senior stakeholders and a track record in developing business strategies which translate into action.

The ability to work in a global networked team environment and strong analytical problem solving skills are essential.
