About the role

Study Lead | Projects | Brisbane Based Roles |Part time|Full Time

The Studies Lead’s focus is to guide studies in our capital portfolio through the study phases of the BHP Investment Process delivering shareholder value.

This requires the coordination of contributions from numerous functions within the business, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and accordance with the project delivery & governance guidelines. The Studies Lead will typically manage one or more studies for projects valued between $10 million and $250 million.

About You

The successful candidate will be ideally degree qualified in engineering, science and/or finance. Your business and/or commerce experience will also be well regarded. As well as a proven background in project management balanced with your ability to understand business value drivers and value optimisation processes.

The nature of the role requires you to be a strong leader, a forward thinker and focussed on process discipline and collaboration. You will also have a strong foundation in coaching techniques that can readily be applied to guide others through complex problems and you are comfortable in engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in preparing written business cases, reports and papers.
