About the role

Provides action and support for the improvement initiatives and business projects of Legacy Asset and identifies improvement opportunities that support business priorities and enable excellence. Development and maintenance of systems and processes to ensure our sites are well controlled and improving. Participates in the groups risk assessments activities.

This position is a grade 11 role.

In this role you will:

• Support and maintain the Legacy Asset systems and processes. 
• Supports the team through action in the end-to-end detailed analysis of process, data, organisation design and system effectiveness to identify inefficiencies in the execution of work, diagnose functional and cross-functional business problems and to identify improvement opportunities; includes using Agile methods for process improvements. 
• Provides input to 5-Year Plan objectives and budget, driving performance and implementation accordingly.
 • Guides checks to verify adherence to design intent, local operating procedures, audit & Group Level Document (GLD/OR) obligations. 
• Leads the delivery or assists in the delivery of initiatives within the portfolio. 
• Supports business continuity and recovery from process and system outages, including root cause analysis and remediation. 
• Engages multiple stakeholders in design, implementation and changes of systems and processes.   
• Ensure department had appropriate capability for effectively standardising and maintaining the Closed Sites systems and processes.
• Manages the Group wide RAA auditing process and action closeout.   

About You

• Bachelor degree in mineral Engineering, environmental or related field.
• Knowledge, background and familiarity of various sites.  
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in a role in mining specific operations, closure projects or environment
• Experience with business improvement methodology and practice
