About the role

Reporting to Superintendent Mine Production, the Underground Mining Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of shift performance. You will be leading a team to ensure the safe delivery of optimum performance. 

Key accountabilities include:
  •  Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplace.
  • Manage a diverse team and allocate resources to ensure development and ground support targets are achieved.
  •   Identify, build and develop team capability through ongoing and regular coaching, development and succession planning.

Please note this is a 7 days on 6 days off / 7 nights on 8 days off roster FIFO ex Perth.

About You

You will have a desire to shape culture, lead a team and improve business performance. Your background in a similar type of position will see you well placed, with the required capability, to step into this opportunity. You will use your ability to communicate and work and as part of a diverse team to ensure our people remain safe and engaged.

To be considered, your skills and experience should include:
  •  Previous Underground Supervisor experience.
  • Experience in Underground hard rock mining.
  • Background in Underground Development mining and Ground Support installation.
  •  Hold a WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency
  •  Hold a current manual Australian driver's license
