The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. About the role

With a multi-million dollar investment in an impressive fleet of drills, the South Flank Drill and Blast team are seeking passionate Drillers with specific exposure to D65 Drill Rigs, to be a part of one of the world’s largest Iron Ore operations. Previous Pit Viper 271 operating experience will also be highly advantageous. This role will mentor Drill Support team members and hold responsibility for executing production requirements in accordance to the mine plan.

About You

Your extensive industry experience and expertise in the operation of D65 Drill Rigs will compliment a tight knit, safety conscious Drill and Blast team. Your flexible and agile work ethic will be evident in the tasks you are required to perform. Through leading by example, your communication and collaboration skills will enhance work standards across the drill and blast team.   It is essential to hold a C Class Driver’s Licence, however a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC), and HR Licence will be considered highly advantageous.
