About the role

Based in our Brisbane office, the Shipping Logistics Coordinator ensures all documentation and processes are in place for vessels to be loaded and sail on time. This includes vessel nominations, document preparations and working with internal and external marketing and logistics parties.
Key responsibilities;
  • To provide a single point of contact with marketing distribution team to ensure shipping requirements are met by the asset
  • Manage relationships with and provide direction to external logistics service providers (Shippers Agents, Rail Operators, Port operators, external industry forums, and Superintending service providers) to ensure operational and shipping requirements are met.
  • Nominate vessels, and review Bill of Ladings, load sequences and terminal vetting questionnaires
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for the export of coal including customs declarations.

About You

You will be someone who thrives on working in the week of operations and identifying and working within competing priorities. You will be someone who is action-oriented and are well versed in stakeholder engagement and communication to underpin the success of your processes. Experience or working knowledge of shipping schedule management essential and this experience relating to Hay Point, Dalrymple Bay, Abbot Point is preferred.
