The South Flank Project is an expansion of BHP's existing Mining Area C hub, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of the town of Newman. About the role

The Drill & Blast team is forming and we want you to be a part of it! Our roles are exposed to all facets of drill & blast activities.  We have various roles available across our Blast Crew so if you are an individual who has meticulous operating skills, is adaptable and has an excellent work ethic, then we would like to hear from you.  Currently we are seeking operators who have experience in the following:
  • Blast Crew
  • Shotfirer

About You

We are eager to hear from you if you have specific experience in any of the above listed roles in a mining environment.

To be successful for this role, you should demonstrate a safety mindset to promote a culture of zero harm. We are looking for individuals who have knowledge of explosives, storage regulations and loading practices within the mining industry and is passionate about continuous improvement.  It is essential to hold a C Class Driver’s License, however a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC), and HR License will be considered highly advantageous.
