About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, our Specialist Maintenance Planner is responsible for scheduling of maintenance work activities aligned with our high performing execution teams to deliver continued planning excellence for Daunia Mine.This role is based at Daunia Mine, Central Queensland, and is on 4/4/4/2 (days) roster.In this role you will:
  • Contribute your SAP planning experience and deliver transactional expectations to support our execution teams;
  • Collaborate with service contractors and suppliers to source cost efficient, appropriate parts and inventory for site;
  • Liaise with our Analysis and Improvement teams to ensure planning adjustments, reschedules and forecasts are captured;
  • Be exposed to projects, mine shutdown activities and a well-regarded small team of maintenance planners.

About You

  • Demonstrated 1SAP planning execution and transactional experience is essential;
  • An innovative individual who enjoys contributing to continuous improvements and driving process change to excel in planning execution;
  • Ambition to further develop career in planning and learn from world class execution matrix’s and processes in the mining industry;
