About the role

The Maintenance Centre of Excellence (MCoE) has been created to define a new way of working. Our new MCoE has been created to remotely yet collaboratively support our sites around the country to deliver safe, sustainable improvement focusing on our equipment performance.

You will be part of a contemporary, CBD based team, utilising innovative tools and technology to add real value and new approaches to maintenance as a profession – providing standards to guide our activity, services where there are benefits to centralisation and scale, and support to our people. This role will be performed from our Maintenance Centre of Excellence based in Brisbane, supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around the Australia and the globe.

As the Specialist Asset Health, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Asset Health Policies using the Asset Performance Management (APM) suite of tools. As you will be the subject matter expert you will also be the go to person for all the training material supporting the business.

Your key responsibilities will also include:
  • Development of Asset Health Policies within APM Application;
  • Monitors and evaluates efficiency of APM Asset Health policies;
  • Supports delivery of APM Capability Development program across MCoE and Business in core pillar of Asset health Monitoring;
  • Supports coaching to MCoE and Business in appropriate utilisation of APM Asset Health modules;
  • Performs continuous improvement initiatives to ensure APM Asset Health Modules and Process is maintained 'fit for purpose; and
  • Stay abreast of changes and enhancement of APM Asset Health modules and provides recommendations for upgrades and inclusion of enhancements.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification with proven  experience in asset health monitoring processes and procedures in complex capital intensive industries. Working knowledge of Asset Performance Management software solution or equivalent software solution would be advantageous.

Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
